2023 saw our fifteenth year of fundraising with an incredible total of just over $1,000,000 being raised since 2008 for our partner organisations in Cambodia. We would like to give a massive thank you to all our volunteers and to our sponsors and supporters that have made all our events possible.
And it really does make a difference to the work and reach of both Mother’s Heart and Damnok Toek. Mother’s Heart in 2023 was able to extend its services to 141 women and girls, and 132 children and their families, providing them with counselling, healthcare and nutrition, shelter, education and opportunities for livelihood. For Damnok Toek, the continuation of projects ensures that thousands of vulnerable children will continue to have access to safety, education and other services, which they hope will provide a peaceful return to their families and society. Their programmes now serve 5000 beneficiaries annually.
