First Hand is run entirely by volunteers. Our members contribute many unique skills and we value the time they offer. Volunteers are not expected to have any specific skills or experience. While we always need people with financial, marketing or technical knowledge, we always need enthusiastic volunteers who are keen to get involved in any capacity that they can. We welcome you.
Each year we create a fun and distinct fundraising event. These events include silent and live auctions and donations from a variety of sponsors. We are always looking for volunteers to join our event and sponsor teams.

In the past, members have participated in service trips to Cambodia to visit Damnok Toek and Mother’s Heart and to learn first hand how our fundraising helps their programs. Members travel to Cambodia at their own expense, meet the teams and see their work in action.
We also deliver in-kind donations during these trips – to date we have delivered over 2 tonnes of items!
