First Hand were delighted with the Cocktails for a cause evening held last week. It was a fantastic evening – great to catch up with many of our regular supporters but also wonderful to see so many new faces at this event.
We were really honoured to have some of the Riverkids team attending the evening, especially Dale Edmonds – founder of the project. She gave a heart breaking account of some of her experiences in the poverty stricken areas of Cambodia’s Phnom Penh and had the whole audience glued to every word!
First Hand was delighted to announce the completion of it’s Food program in Neak Leong. And pledged support to Riverkids with the promise of raising $40,000 for a new food program supporting the Riverkids children and their families.
